How it works

  1. Step 1
    Open VoiceBridge from any device
Front desk computer, manager phone, server's tablet — same browser interface, no app to install or roll out.
  2. Step 2
Guest or staff scans the QR
Opens in their phone's browser instantly. No room number lookup, no language barrier at the kiosk, no awkward gestures.
  3. Step 3
    Conversation flows naturally
Real-time voice translation in both directions. Email summaries (Business tier) give ops a record of guest interactions for service recovery.

Frequently asked

Do my staff need to install anything?

No. A front-desk manager opens VoiceBridge on their phone or tablet, shows the QR to housekeeping/kitchen/maintenance staff, and that person scans with their phone camera. The session opens in their browser. No app, no account, no IT ticket.

How is this different from a translator service like Language Line?

Live phone interpreters are $1–$3 per minute with a 30–60 second connection time at the start of every call. For quick operational conversations — "where are the extra towels for 412?", "the kitchen needs more cilantro" — that overhead kills the value. VoiceBridge is flat-rate, opens instantly, and the conversation feels normal. Reserve live interpreters for guest-facing situations that need a certified human; use VoiceBridge for the dozens of internal staff conversations every shift.

Can it handle hospitality vocabulary specifically?

Yes — the model is tuned for service-industry context. Room types, menu items, allergen flags, ticket statuses, common request phrasing (turn-down service, late checkout, do-not-disturb). For restaurants we test against the most common Spanish kitchen terminology (mise en place, en marcha, behind, hot pan, 86'd, etc.).

Will it work on the staff phones we already have?

Yes. Any browser-capable phone — Android or iPhone — from the last 5+ years works. We do not need the latest model. The product is also tested in the kinds of network conditions you actually have (back-of-house cellular dead zones, hotel guest Wi-Fi).

Can I tag conversations to a specific room or ticket?

Yes. On the Business plan, each conversation can be labeled with a custom field — room number, ticket ID, shift, project, etc. The label shows up in your session log and in the AI summary email, so a manager reviewing the day can filter by room or staff member.

Does it work in noisy kitchen / housekeeping environments?

Yes. The press-to-talk model only captures intentional speech (when the button is held), so dishwasher and vacuum noise do not bleed into the translation. For very loud environments, both speakers can also type rather than speak.

How many staff can use one account?

Team plan covers 5 staff with shared sessions ($49/mo). Business plan ($99/mo) is property-wide with no seat cap, admin dashboard, custom fields, and webhook delivery. Most independently-owned hotels start on Team; chains with multiple properties go straight to Business or Enterprise.
